​This highlights tour takes in the popular sites of Vietnam. Your trip starts in Ho Chi Minh City, with tours to Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta, travelling north to Da Lat, Hoi An, Hue, finishing in Ha Noi with a trip to the stunning Ha Long Bay.

Day 01: Australia ► Ho Chi Minh City 
Morning depart Australia with Vietnam Airlines to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival meet your guide and transfer to four star hotel for 4 nights. 
 
Day 02: Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner) 
Full-day tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many local people. Tour includes Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office, and War Museum where we can view the displays and photographs during the Vietnam War in the 70s. After lunch, visit Reunification Palace, the democratic regime of former South Vietnam. Then enjoy shopping at Ben Thanh Market. 
 
Day 03: Ho Chi Minh City ► Mekong Delta ► Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner) 
Morning drives overland to Cai Be, in the heart of the Mekong Delta. On arrival at Cai Be, board a sampan boat to visit Cai Be floating market and experience how local people exchange their goods, fruit, vegetable and many other commodities. Continue to Vinh Long through small canals. Enjoy lunch with fresh food in the heart of fruit garden. Visit an old colonial house and a rice corn factory. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon. 
 
Day 04: Ho Chi Minh City ► Cu Chi Tunnels ► Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast. Lunch) 
Morning drive to Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground system covering nearly 250km, which was shelter to over 16,000 locals and communist guerrillas during the war. On arrive watch a short video showing how the tunnels constructed, then exploring the hidden tunnels and on display are various mantraps. Afternoon free leisure.
 
Day 05: Ho Chi Minh City ► Da Lat (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner) 
Today take an early morning flight to Da Lat. The city is the jewel of the southern central highland region. The cool climate and park-like environment make it one of the most delightful cities in Vietnam. Upon arrival, visit Prenn Waterfall and continue to Bao Dai Summer. Check-in to four star hotel for 2 nights. 
 
Day 06: Da Lat (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner) 
After breakfast, take the cable car to Truc Lam Monastery – One of the Buddhism Central of Vietnam, follow by a short boat ride on Tuyen Lam Lake among the pines tree. Then visit to a local sweet jam shop for shopping.
 
Day 07: Da Lat ► Da Nang ► Hoi An (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner) 
Take an early morning flight to Da Nang. On arrival meet you guide and transfer to Hoi An and take a walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Phuc Kien Temple, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200 year old Tam Ky ancestral house, the Japanese Covered Bridge and the colourful local markets. Check-in to four star hotel for 2 nights. 
 
Day 08: Hoi An (Breakfast) 
Free leisure time.
 
Day 09: Hoi An ► Hue (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner) 
Today travel by road to Hue, drive over the mighty Hai Van Pass for the views of the Pacific Ocean. On the way, visit Tu Duc Tomb, then take a dragon boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River. Visit Hue’s best-known religious site Thien Mu Pagoda. Check-in to four star hotel for 1 night. 
 
Day 10: Hue ► Ha Noi (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner) 
Morning visit Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. After lunch, transfer to the airport for your flight to Ha Noi, the unique city of tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architectures, peaceful lakes and oriental temples. Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to four star hotel for 2 nights. 
 
Day 11: Ha Noi (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner) 
Today city tour includes Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, and the Ethnic Minority Museum. After lunch, visit Lake of Restored Sword and Hoa Lo Prison. Evening enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. 
 

Day 12: Ha Noi ► Ha Long Bay (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner) 
This morning travel by road through the Red River Delta to beautiful Ha Long Bay. The scenic drive will pass through rural landscapes before arriving at this World Heritage site. Upon arrival board the deluxe Junk Boat where you will enjoy a welcome drink and a delicious freshly caught seafood lunch whilst sailing out of the bay passing amazing shaped mountains. Later you will visit Sung Sot Cave then sail on to Titop Beach and Mountain. Weather permitting, you may wish to partake in a 400 steps climb up the mountain to enjoy a picturesque view of Ha Long Bay whilst viewing the sunset. (Overnight on deluxe Ha Long Bay Cruise) 
 
Day 13: Ha Long Bay ► Ha Noi (Breakfast. Lunch) 
Enjoy early morning view of the bay’s landscape. Enjoy the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the water of the bay before taking a small boat to visit Hang Luon. We have some time to swim before sailing back to the Harbour. After check out have early lunch and then drive back to Ha Noi. On the way, take short visit Dong Trieu Pottery Village and check-in to four star hotel for 1 night. 
 
Day 14: Ha Noi ► Australia (Breakfast) 
Morning free leisure time for last minute shopping. Late afternoon meet at the hotel lobby and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
 
Day 15: Australia arrival
Arrive home with wonderful experiences.

Day 01: Ha Noi
Upon arrival in Ha Noi, meet your guide and transfer to four star hotel for 1 night.
 
Day 02: Ha Noi ► Sapa (Breakfast)
Morning free leisure time. Late afternoon meet your guide and transfer to Ha Noi Railways Station to board the overnight soft-sleeper train (share 4 berth cabin) to Sapa.
 
Day 03: Sap ► Cat Cat Minority Village ► Sapa (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Arrive at Lao Cai Station early morning, pick up and transfer to Sapa. After breakfast, visit Cat Cat village, a small village of H’Mong People, where you can relax beside the waterfall or visit the old power station of the French. Check-in to four star hotel for 1 night.
 
Day 04: Sapa ► Taphin ► Laochai ► Tavan ► Ha Noi (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Travel by car or Jeep to Taphin, Laochai and Tavan villages where Red Dzao and Black H’Mong will make us feel at home. En route, we pass the ruins of French - era church. Proceed to Lao Cai Station for the overnight soft-sleeper train (share 4 berth cabin) to Ha Noi.
 
Day 05: Ha Noi
Arrives Ha Noi 5:30am in the morning.

Day 01: Ho Chi Minh City ► Siem Reap (Lunch. Dinner) 
Morning transfer to airport for flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, transfer to four star hotel for 2 nights. After check-in, visit Floating Village of Chong Khneans and take a boat trip to Tonle Sap River. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. 
 
Day 02: Siem Reap (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner and Show) 
A full day tour in Siem Reap. Visit South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphuon, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, and Elephant Terrace of the Leper King. After lunch continue Ta Prohm, Angkor Wat and view the lovely sunset from Phnom Bakeng. Dinner at a local restaurant and enjoy Apsara Dance tonight.
 
Day 03: Siem Reap Depart (Breakfast)
Morning free leisure time. Afternoon transfer to airport for your onward flight.

Today visit the National Museum and Wat Phnom, Central market (where people sell jewellery, fabrics and all types of souvenirs) or Russian Market (selling silks, crafts, jewellery and more). After lunch visit Toul Sieng Museum and Khmer Rouge prison, Killing Field of Choeung Eik.
 
Day 03: Phnom Penh ► Siem Reap (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Take a morning flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival in Siem Reap visit Angkor Thom, in the centre of the walled city and stop at the city’s most important monuments including Bayon, Baphuon, the Terrace of Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King and Phimeanakas with Royal Enclosure. Enjoy Dinner and Apsara Dance Show tonight. Check-in to four hotel 2 nights.
 
Day 04: Siem Reap (Breakfast. Lunch)
Today visit Angkor Wat, a temple dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. Continue to Ta Prohm, one of the most popular attractions of Angkor and finally you will visit the Banteay Srei.
 
Day 05: Siem Reap Depart  (Breakfast)

Day 01: Ho Chi Minh City ► Vientiane
Take a late afternoon flight to Vientiane. On arrival meet your guide and transfer to four star hotel for 2 nights.
 
Day 02:  Vientiane (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Today visit the oldest Wat Sisaket, the temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Hor Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. If time permits us, we will visit Morning market of Vientiane and see what you will find. Recommended items are Lao textiles, hill-tribe Art, crafts and antiques.
 
Day 03: Vientiane ► Luang Prabang (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
ake a morning flight to Luang Prabang, one of the best-preserved traditional cities in Southeast Asia. Upon arrival, visit the Royal Palace Museum, the impressive Stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham. Evening, climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as  panoramic views of the city at sunset and the Mekong River. Check-in to four star hotel for 2 nights.
 
Day 04: Luang Prabang ► Pak Ou ► Luang Prabang (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Today’s tour includes the city’s oldest temple and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple. Then embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River where we can view the tranquil countryside, as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious Pak Ou caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, stop at the village of Ban Xang Hai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, take a short drive to Ban Phanom, well known for its hand weaving.
 
Day 05: Luang Prabang Depart (Breakfast)
