​This wonder tour takes in major sites of both Vietnam and Cambodia. This tour begins in Ha Noi, Vietnam with trips to Ha Long Bay, Hue, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City before travelling to Cambodia and visiting Phnom Penh and the incredible Angkor Wat Temple in Siem Reap.

Day 01: Australia ► Ha Noi
Morning depart Australia with Vietnam Airlines to Ha Noi (via Ho Chi Minh City), the unique city of tree-lined boulevards French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental temples. Upon arrival meet your guide and transfer to four star hotel for 2 nights.

Day 02: Ha Noi (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
City tour includes Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda. After lunch, visit Ethnic Minority Museum, Lake of Restored Sword. In the evening enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show.

Day 03: Ha Noi ► Ha Long Bay (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
This morning depart from Ha Noi and travel by road through the Red River Delta to beautiful Ha Long Bay. The scenic drive will pass through rural landscapes before arriving at this World Heritage site. Upon arrival board the deluxe Junk Boat where you will enjoy a welcome drink and freshly caught seafood lunch whilst sailing out of the bay passing amazing shaped mountains. Later you will visit Sung Sot Cave then sail on to Titop Beach and Mountain. Weather permitting, you may wish to partake in a 400 steps climb up the mountain to enjoy a picturesque view of Ha Long Bay whilst viewing the sunset. (Overnight on deluxe Ha Long Bay Cruise)

Day 04: Ha Long Bay ► Ha Noi ► Hue (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Enjoy early morning view of the bay’s landscape. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax and enjoy the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the water of the bay before taking a small boat to visit Hang Luon. You will have free time to swim before sailing back to the harbour. After check out, have early lunch and then drive back to Ha Noi Airport for flight to Hue. On the way take short visit to Dong Trieu Pottery Village. Upon arrival meet your guide and transfer to four star hotel for 2 nights.

Day 05: Hue (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Today visit Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled Vietnam between 1802 and 1945, and continue to the elaborate tombs of emperors Tu Duc. After lunch, visit Thien Mu Pagoda to see the 7-storey octagonal tower and an old Austin car, which transported Thich Quang to Ho Chi Minh City in 1963 for his self-immolation and then board a Dragon Boat ride along the romantic Perfume River back to the hotel.

Day 06: Hue ► Da Nang ► Hoi An (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Morning depart Hue to Hoi An by road via Da Nang (approximately 120km). Drive over the mighty Hai Van Pass for views of the Pacific Ocean. On arrive Hoi An take a walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Phuc Kien Temple, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200 year old Tam Ky ancestral house, the Japanese Covered Bridge and the colourful local markets. Check-in to four star hotel for 3 nights.

Day 07: Hoi An Village Tour (Breakfast. Lunch)
Today experience Hoi An countryside to Tra Que Organic Vegetable village experience a day of living and working with the local people. Discover the daily life of local farmers during your stroll around the vegetable garden and learn how the farmer prepares the land. Then take boat trip along tranquil Co Co river, which leaves you a lasting impression and create unforgettable memories.

Day 08: Hoi An (Breakfast)
Free leisure time to explore Hoi An Town or relax at the beach.

Day 09: Hoi An ► Da Nang ► Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Take a morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City still call Saigon by many locals’ people. On arrival visit Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office, and War Museum where we can view the displays and photographs during the Vietnam War in the 70s. After lunch, visit Reunification Palace, the democratic regime of former South Vietnam and enjoy shopping at Ben Thanh Market. Check-in to four star hotel for 3 nights.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City ► Cu Chi Tunnels ► Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast. Lunch)
Morning drive to Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground system covering nearly 250km, which was shelter to over 16,000 locals and communist guerrillas during the war. On arrive watch a short video showing how the tunnels constructed, then exploring the hidden tunnels and on display are various mantraps. Afternoon free leisure.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City ► Mekong Delta ► Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Morning drives overland to Cai Be, in the heart of the Mekong Delta. On arrival at Cai Be, board a sampan boat to visit Cai Be floating market and experience how local people exchange their goods, fruit, vegetable and many other commodities. Continue to Vinh Long through small canals. Enjoy lunch with fresh food in the heart of fruit garden. Visit an old colonial house and a rice corn factory. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City ► Phnom Penh (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Today take a flight to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda. Then take a boat cruise along the Mekong and Tonle Sap River. Check-in to four star hotel for 2 nights.

Day 13: Phnom Penh (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Today’s tour will visit the National Museum and Wat Phnom, Central market (where people sell jewellery, fabrics and all types of souvenirs) or Russian Market (selling silks, crafts, jewellery and more). After lunch, visit Toul Sieng Museum and Khmer Rouge prison, then continue visit to the Killing Field of Choeung Eik.

Day 14: Phnom Penh ► Siem Reap (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Take a morning flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, visit Angkor Thom. In the centre of the city wall where most important monuments including Bayon, Baphuon, the Terrace of Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King and Phimeanakas with Royal Enclosure. Check-in to four star hotel for 2 nights. Tonight enjoy dinner with Apsara Dance Show.

Day 15: Siem Reap (Breakfast. Lunch)
Today visit Angkor Wat, a temple dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. Continue to visit Ta Prohm, one of the popular attractions of Angkor and finally you will visit the Banteay Srei “Citadel of the Women”.

Day 16: Siem Reap ► Ho Chi Minh City ► Australia (Breakfast)
Morning free leisure time. In the afternoon meet at the hotel lobby and transfer to airport for your flight home.

Day 17: Australia arrival
Arrive home in the morning with exciting memories.

Day 01: Ha Noi
Upon arrival in Ha Noi, meet your guide and transfer to four star hotel for 1 night.
 
Day 02: Ha Noi ► Sapa (Breakfast)
Morning free leisure time. Late afternoon meet your guide and transfer to Ha Noi Railways Station to board the overnight soft-sleeper train (share 4 berth cabin) to Sapa.
 
Day 03: Sap ► Cat Cat Minority Village ► Sapa (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Arrive at Lao Cai Station early morning, pick up and transfer to Sapa. After breakfast, visit Cat Cat village, a small village of H’Mong People, where you can relax beside the waterfall or visit the old power station of the French. Check-in to four star hotel for 1 night.
 
Day 04: Sapa ► Taphin ► Laochai ► Tavan ► Ha Noi (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Travel by car or Jeep to Taphin, Laochai and Tavan villages where Red Dzao and Black H’Mong will make us feel at home. En route, we pass the ruins of French - era church. Proceed to Lao Cai Station for the overnight soft-sleeper train (share 4 berth cabin) to Ha Noi.
 
Day 05: Ha Noi
Arrives Ha Noi 5:30am in the morning.

Day 01: Ho Chi Minh City ► Vientiane
Take a late afternoon flight to Vientiane. On arrival meet your guide and transfer to four star hotel for 2 nights.
 
Day 02:  Vientiane (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Today visit the oldest Wat Sisaket, the temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Hor Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. If time permits us, we will visit Morning market of Vientiane and see what you will find. Recommended items are Lao textiles, hill-tribe Art, crafts and antiques.
 
Day 03: Vientiane ► Luang Prabang (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
ake a morning flight to Luang Prabang, one of the best-preserved traditional cities in Southeast Asia. Upon arrival, visit the Royal Palace Museum, the impressive Stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham. Evening, climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as  panoramic views of the city at sunset and the Mekong River. Check-in to four star hotel for 2 nights.
 
Day 04: Luang Prabang ► Pak Ou ► Luang Prabang (Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner)
Today’s tour includes the city’s oldest temple and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple. Then embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River where we can view the tranquil countryside, as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious Pak Ou caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, stop at the village of Ban Xang Hai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, take a short drive to Ban Phanom, well known for its hand weaving.
 
Day 05: Luang Prabang Depart (Breakfast)
Morning free leisure time. Afternoon transfer to airport for your onward flight.
